Saint Vincent and the Grenadines need you!
Contribute now to this urgent matter

Since April 8th of 2021, the La Soufriere volcano, located in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, increased its activity which resulted in several active explosive eruptions and the entire island has been covered in ashfall forcing >20,000 people to evacuate. This falling ash and pyroclastic flows have destroyed crops and also contaminated all water reservoirs. These eruptions are likely to continue for days or weeks which means that the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will need our help!

There is an urgent need for water and other supplies as thousands of people have been displaced from their homes (See Immediate Needs List). The UK High Commission in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has created a GoFundMe Page to allow for a more convenient form of contributions. The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency has been spearheading relief efforts and are also accepting monetary donations to aid in relief efforts and the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines are also accepting financial help via wire transfers. If you wish to donate goods and live in the Caribbean, you can liaise with your local Disaster Management Agency.

All donations will be greatly appreciated by those affected.
