DESCRIPTION:Many countries depend heavily on tuna resources for food security and nutrition\, economic development\, employment\, government revenue\, livelihoods\, culture and recreation. \nAt present more than 80 States have tuna fisheries\, thousands of tuna fishing vessels operate in all the oceans and tuna fishery capacity is still growing in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. \nWe observe World Tuna Day to highlight the importance of sustainably managed fish stocks in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. \nThe Day was designated in a 2016 resolution of the General Assembly. \nhttp://www.un.org/en/events/tunaday\nHastag: #WorldTunaDay
