The above “Overview Chart” or dashboard provides a snapshot of the current overall status of implementation of the regional CLME+ Strategic Action Programme (SAP, 2015-2025+).
Please note that “implementation progress” as visualized in this Overview Chart is only based on the progress records that have been created to date by “ocean” practitioners (IGOs, projects, gov’t agencies, NGO’s,….) using the online tools (Google Form) available through this website.
For many SAP Actions, real progress can thus be anticipated to be more substantial than what is reflected in this Chart, but such progress has not been recorded (yet) in the system to date.
Any entity, project or initiative that considers to have contributed to advancing the implementation of any of the (Sub-)Strategies and/or Actions under the SAP is strongly encouraged to help us obtaining a more accurate status of implementation progress, by creating your own SAP Action(s) progress record(s).
The CLME+ Strategic Action Programme was developed with financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), and conceptualized as an ambitious “umbrella action programme” whose implementation would require the support from a multitude of organizations and projects.
Your entity’s/project’s contribution to this effort will be acknowledged and made visible to the wider ocean stakeholder/donor community.
