SUMMARY OF THE REGIONAL QUEEN CONCH FISHERIES MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION PLAN: MEASURES (Draft)
The Queen Conch fishery supports more than 20,000 fishers in the Caribbean region, and represents an important activity as it provides employment and income in remote coastal communities, contributes to export earnings as well as to food security and poverty alleviation. This report outlines a series of recommendations on measures for the short, medium, and long term.
