3.1 Decide upon and establish an interim coordination mechanism amongst the regional sub-arrangements for sustainable fisheries and for the protection of the marine environmentYESICM SecretariatCompletedLowIn July 2017 the CLME+ SAP Interim Coordination Mechanism became established as the 5th out of 8 Inter-Governmental Organizations (IGO's) that originally pledged to work together towards enhanced, better coordinated ocean governance in the Wider Caribbean Region signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The CLME+ PCU was appointed as the Interim Secretariat. By the end of 2017, all 8 Parties had signed the MOU. The CLME+ SAP ICM had its most recent meeting in August 2019. The next meeting is scheduled to take place on 17 September 2019. The Chair of the ICM lies with UNESCO IOC18-Aug-19CLME+
